Disassembly and Assembly

1. Remove the second row 40 percent seat of the 60/40 bench seat. For additional information, refer to Seat - Second Row, Sport Trac   or Seat -

Second Row, Explorer, 60/40 Bench  .

2. Remove the second row, 40 percent bench seat backrest. For additional information, refer to Seat Backrest - Second Row, 40 Percent, Bench  See:

3. NOTICE: Use care when separating the cushion trim cover from the hook-and-loop strip, or the hook-and-loop strip can be torn from the

seat cushion foam pad.

Release the J-clips, separate the hook-and-loop fasteners and remove the seat cushion trim cover.

4. Remove the cushion foam pad.

5. Remove the cushion pad supports.

6. To assemble, reverse the disassembly procedure.
