Mountaineer 4WD V6-4.0L VIN E (1999)
1. Install the muffler over the rear axle and twist the muffler into position.
2. NOTE: Before installing the muffler into the rubber insulators, apply a soap solution to the support slides.
Push the double support slides into the rubber insulators.
3. Push the rear support slide into the rubber insulator.
4. Position the RH torsion bar and install the nut.
5. Install the bolts.
