Attachment III - Technical Information
OVERVIEW
This program involves checking the existing PCM calibration (PCM ID) using either Worldwide Diagnostic System (WDS) or New Generation Star
(NGS) Tester. Once you have recorded the PCM ID information, you will need to compare it to the Application/Calibration Chart to see if
reprogramming is necessary. If a later calibration is available other than what is listed in the chart, reprogram the PCM to the latest level.
NOTE:
If you discover that the PCM is already at the latest level, do not attempt to perform the reprogram procedure. No further service is required except to
install an Authorized Modification Label.
