Mountaineer 4WD V6-4.0L VIN E (1999)
11. Remove the lower ball joint castellated nut.
1. Remove the lower ball joint cotter pin.
2. Remove the lower ball joint castellated nut.
12. Use the Pitman Arm Puller to separate the front wheel knuckle from the front suspension lower arm.
13. Remove the pinch bolt.
14. Remove the front wheel knuckle.
Installation
1. Install the front wheel knuckle pinch bolt and nut.
1. Position the front wheel knuckle on the front suspension upper arm.
2. Install the pinch bolt and nut.
