Wiper Motor: Service and Repair
Front Wiper Motor

REMOVAL

CAUTION:  The internal permanent magnets used in the windshield wiper motor are made of a glass-like material. To avoid damaging the magnets, do
not strike the motor with a hammer or any other object.

NOTE:  The windshield wiper motor is not a repairable item. If worn or damaged, the motor must be replaced.

1. Remove the LH pivot arm.

1. Pull up on the pivot arm.
2. Pull out on the retainer tab and remove the pivot arm.

2. Remove the LH cowl top vent panel screw.

3. Disconnect the washer hose from the LH washer jet nozzle.
