Removal and Installation
CAUTION: Any time bolts, washers, spacers, or nuts are loosened in the differential support for any reason, install new components to prevent
damage.
1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
2. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
3. Remove the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve tube.
4. Remove the upper fan shroud.

Remove the bolts and, if equipped, the assembly screws.

Discard the assembly screws.
