9. Remove the OSS sensor.
1. Remove the OSS sensor screw.
2. Remove the OSS sensor from the transmission.

Inspect the OSS sensor O-ring for damage. If damaged, install a new O-ring.
Installation
All vehicles
1. Inspect the OSS O-ring seal for damage. Install a new O-ring seal if damaged. Lubricate the O-ring seal with petroleum jelly to prevent damage to
the O-ring seal.
1. Install the OSS sensor into the transmission.
2. Tighten the OSS sensor screw.

Tighten to 14 Nm (124 lb-in).
2. Connect the OSS sensor connector.
3. Connect the HO2S connector to the transmission case.
