5. Remove the HCU.

1. Remove the bolts.
2. Remove the HCU.

6. If necessary, remove the anti-lock brake control module.

7. CAUTION:  After the electronic hydraulic control unit is installed, it is necessary to bleed the hydraulic brake system.

NOTE:  When the battery is disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms can occur while the vehicle relearns its adaptive
strategy. The vehicle may need to be driven 16 km (10 mi) or more to relearn the strategy.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Bleed the HCU.
