Removal and Installation
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the stoplight switch retaining pin.
3. Slide the stoplight switch and booster push rod from the brake pedal pin.
4. CAUTION: The brake pedal and the accelerator pedal must be in same position before removal. The pedals must be in the completely forward
(toward the driver) or completely rearward (away from the driver) position.
Remove the brake pedal-to-accelerator pedal cable from the accelerator pedal by pulling the cable retainer outward.
