Special Tool(s)
1. NOTE: Clean the flywheel surface using a suitable solvent to make sure the surface is free from any oil film.
Inspect the flywheel for scoring, cracks or heat checks.
If the flywheel is badly scored, heat checked or cracked, install a new flywheel.
2. Using the special tool, check the flywheel face runout.

Install a new flywheel if the runout is greater than specified.
