Install revised steering wheel vibration damper, steering wheel, and air bag module (refer to Parts Block for proper application) according to the
Contour/Mystique Service Manual, Section 11-04. Make sure the new damper is properly centered (Figure 1) before tightening the bolt. Do not
allow the damper to twist to either side while tightening the retaining bolt as this may cause the damper to raffle.

Raise the vehicle on a hoist and remove the front undershield.

Loosen and remove the two (2) lower radiator mount retaining brackets (two bolts per mount, four bolts total).

Replace the lower radiator mounts with revised part (F7RZ-16138-AA). Be sure to insert the mounts fully into the brackets and push them flush to
the bottom face of the radiator. Lubricate the new mounts with soap solution to ease insertion.
6.
Reinstall the lower radiator mount retaining brackets and bolts. Do not completely tighten the bolts at this time.

Gently shake the radiator in the vertical direction and allow it to come to rest in a stress-free position.
8.
Retighten the radiator lower brackets to 9.5 N-m (7 lb-ft). Do not allow the brackets to rotate while tightening the bolts. If necessary, hold the
bracket in position while tightening to prevent rotation.
