Check that cables are correctly routed and are not kinked. Refer to Figures 1 and 2.

Disconnect and reconnect the upper-to-lower cable connection in the engine compartment, ensuring correct engagement into the ends.

Check for correct assembly of the upper cable to the speedometer.

If the concern still exists, it may be necessary to replace parts. If this is necessary, be sure to install one (1) part at a time, verifying the repair
before replacing the next part.

Replace the parts in the order of upper cable first, then lower cable.
