Using Bearing Pulling Attachment D84L-1123-A, or equivalent, press off the 5th gear wheel with the input shaft bearing (Figure 11).

Slide the snap ring up out of the annular groove until it sits below the input shaft bearing

Press off 5th gear together with the snap ring and input shaft bearing (Figure 12)
