Accumulator HVAC: Service and Repair
Spring Lock Coupling Disconnect Tool Set
SPECIAL TOOL(S)
REMOVAL
1. Reclaim the refrigerant.
2. Disconnect the line from the suction accumulator to the A/C compressor and disconnect the electrical connector.
NOTE:

Seal the line and the connection with plugs.
^
Use the "black" special tool form the tool set.
3. Support the radiator with pins (left-hand side shown).
4. Raise and support the vehicle.
