9. Disconnect the air distributor from the heater/evaporator core housing (shown removed).
10. Remove the heater outlet floor duct from the heater/evaporator core housing.

Remove the screw.

Slide the air duct upwards.

Release the retaining tabs on each side and remove the heater outlet floor duct.
11. Remove the heater core cover and core.

Release the four retaining clips and remove the heater core cover and core.
INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Check heating and air conditioning system for normal operation.
NOTE: When the battery is disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the vehicle relearns its adaptive
strategy. The vehicle may need to be driven 16 km (10 miles) or more to relearn the strategy.
