16. Remove the lower arm to wheel knuckle pinch bolt and nut.
17. CAUTION: When the ball joint is separated from the wheel knuckle the ball joint seal must be protected to prevent damage.
Detach the lower arm from the wheel knuckle.
18. Raise the wheel knuckle on the strut.

Remove the pinch bolt.

Raise the wheel knuckle on the strut.
19. Remove the lower arm.

Remove the retaining nuts and bolts.

Position the transaxle to remove the bolts.
