RENTAL CARS
Ford Motor Company will pay for a loaner or rental vehicle for up to four days, except for fuel and insurance which will be at owner's expense. Loaner
or rental is only approved for delivered vehicles that fail the inspection. If a vehicle fails the inspection, please provide a loaner vehicle while the parts
are on order and until repairs are completed. Enter the word "LOANER" plus the number of days the vehicle was used in the Miscellaneous Expense
area.

If the Ignition Key Removal Inhibit System does not pass the inspection procedure call the Recall Hotline (1-800-325-5621) for parts and repair
information. For delivered units only, provide a "Loaner" vehicle to the customer until repairs are complete. See Attachment I for details.
Attachment III - Technical Information
Inspection Procedure
1.
Park the car on a level surface.
2.
Firmly apply the park brake.
3.
Rotate the ignition key to the "ON" position.
4.
Depress the brake pedal.
5.
Place transmission selector lever in the "NEUTRAL" position.
6.
With the selector lever in "NEUTRAL":
a.
try to rotate the ignition key to the "LOCK" position
b.
try to remove the key from the ignition lock cylinder
