Some vehicles produced before 1/31/86 may have door locks that will not open with key. This condition is caused by an interference between the
anti-theft shield lower leg and front door lock cylinder rod. To correct this condition, rework the box section of the lock cylinder rod by opening the
lower leg to 5.0-8.0 mm loop opening.
