Remove the trim cover and pad from seat back. Refer to the 1986 Taurus/Sable Shop Manual and use Steps 5 and 6 of Seat, Front-Back Trim

WARNING:
Safety glasses must be worn for Step 6.
6.
Place a piece of board on top of the sleeve and sharply hit the board to drive each sleeve through the seat back frame. (Figure 6)
7.
Remove the sleeves and any pieces of plastic from inside seat back frame.

Installation
1.
Push the sleeves through both holes in seat frame. Make sure the fingers on bottom of sleeves are expanded at the bottom hole. (Figure 7)
