Using a solder gun with a flat cutting tip, enlarge the two existing floor duct openings and add a third to the duct as shown in Figure 18.

NOTE:

Use only ready made flat type solder gun tips.

Place a piece of black duct tape on the outside of the floor duct across the bottom of the left side lower opening (Figure 18). Then place a second
piece of tape inside the duct extending it through the opening and down the outside of the duct (Figure 18) to reinforce the single thickness of the
first piece of tape over the opening.

Remove the foam seal from the rear floor duct insert of the floor duct and replace it with 3/8 inch thick foam seal procured locally (Figure 18).

Reinstall the floor duct in the vehicle from the passenger side, reversing the procedure given in Step 1.
