Use Rotunda Spot-Eze to remove four welds on each side. (Figure 12).
CAUTION: Do not cut deeper than thickness of alignment plates.
4.
Remove three nuts attaching strut mount to tower on each side.
5.
Remove both alignment plates.

Clean burrs from towers, alignment plates, paint exposed metal on strut towers and plates. (Figure 13)
7.
Install both alignment plates.
