Wheel Fastener: Service and Repair
Wheel Stud

Front

REMOVAL

1. Raise vehicle on hoist. 
2. Remove wheel and tire assembly.
3. Remove disc brake caliper, and front disc brake rotor.

4. Position lug bolt to clear front wheel knuckle. Remove lug bolt from wheel hub.

INSTALLATION

1. Install lug bolt into wheel hub.
2. Using a lug nut, seat wheel hub bolt into wheel hub.
3. Install front disc brake rotor and disc brake caliper.
4. Install wheel and tire assembly. Tighten lug nut to 115-142 Nm (85-104 ft. lbs.).

Rear

REMOVAL

1. Remove wheel hub.

2. Using a press, remove lug bolt from wheel hub.

INSTALLATION

1. Using a press, install lug bolt into wheel hub.
2. Install wheel hub.
