Front Door Exterior Handle: Service and Repair
Handle, Outside Door
Front
Removal
1. Remove door trim panel end watershield.
2. Tape or otherwise protect area of door around door outside handle opening to prevent paint damage.
3. Remove two screws retaining outside front door handle to front door (20124) and pull outside front door handle outward from front door.
4. Disconnect door latch actuator rod from outside front door handle and remove door handle.
Installation
1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order.
2. Tighten retaining screws to 6-8 Nm (54-70 lb-in).

Rear
Removal
1. Remove door trim panel and watershield.
2. Tape or otherwise protect area of door around door outside handle opening to prevent paint damage.
3. Remove two screws retaining rear door outside handle (26604) to rear door (24630) rotate and disconnect outside rear door handle from latch
actuating rod and remove.
Installation
1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order.
2. Tighten retaining screws to 6-8 Nm (54-70 lb-in).
