Sunroof / Moonroof Weatherstrip: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. Remove roof sliding outer glass panel.
2. Remove old roof sliding panel seal.
3. Remove roof sliding panel seal adhesive from roof sliding outer glass panel.

INSTALLATION

1. Trim one end of the new roof sliding panel seal square. Trim other end of roof sliding panel seal with minimal (1 mm, 0.039 inch) interference

with opposite square end.

2. Apply Weatherstrip and Rubber Adhesive E8AZ-19552-A or equivalent meeting Ford specification ESB-M2G14-A to new roof sliding panel seal

and press roof sliding panel seal onto roof sliding outer glass panel.

NOTE:  Locate butt joint of roof sliding panel seal on passenger side of roof sliding outer glass panel first to make sure bumper insert in roof
sliding panel seal is positioned along front of roof sliding outer glass panel.

3. Install roof sliding outer glass panel.
4. Adjust roof sliding outer glass panel.
