Solar Sensor: Description and Operation
The A/C sunload sensor:

is located in the RH upper instrument panel outer finish panel.

contains a photovoltaic (sensitive to sunlight) diode.

has some unspecified resistance across the terminals depending upon the amount of light reaching the photovoltaic diode; therefore the only test
that can be performed is for an internal short circuit.
