Ford Motor Company is providing a no-charge Service Program, Number 92M77, toowners of certain 1988 through 1991 Taurus/Sable and Continental
Front Wheel Drive cars equipped with 3.8L engines.

REASON FOR
THIS PROGRAM
Some affected cars may experience premature deterioration of the right front and/or right rear hydraulic engine mounts.

Should this occur, the driver may hear an unusual clunking noise on transmission engagement and when starting to accelerate or decelerate.

NO COST SERVICE
If your car shows these symptoms, your dealer will inspect and if necessary, replace the right front and right rear engine mounts.

This service is offered free of charge for 6 years or 60,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the original warranty start date or through January 1,
1993, whichever provides greater coverage.

If your car has more than 60,000 miles, this service will be offered without charge through January 1, 1993.

IT TAKE
The time needed for this service is about one and a half hours. However, due to service scheduling times, your dealer may need your car for one full
working day.

Ask for a service date and if parts are in stock.

If your dealer does not have the parts in stock, they can be ordered before scheduling your service date. Parts would be expected to arrive within a week.

When you bring your car in, give the dealer this letter.

If you misplace this letter, your dealer will still do the work, free of charge.

REFUNDS
If you paid to have this service done before the date of this letter, Ford is offering a full refund. For the refund, please show your paid work-order to your
Ford or Lincoln-Mercury dealer.
