ISSUE:

The EGR Valve Position Sensor (EVP) diagnostic procedures in 1985 through 1989 Engine Emissions Diagnosis Shop Manuals, Volume
H, have been revised. EVP Sensors may exhibit internal wear problems that can cause driveability symptoms and display a Continuous
Self-Test Code 32. This is not associated to correcting the problem using the existing diagnostic procedures.

Refer to the pages following this TSB article for the revised diagnostic procedures.
