ISSUE:
A harsh 3-1 torque demand downshift at slow speeds, 12-18 mph (19-29 km/h) when turning or accelerating after coasting to a slower speed
may be caused by the calibration of pump and main control assembly.
ACTION:
Install a new 1990 level pump and main control assembly. Refer to the appropriate Car Shop Manual, Section 17-15 for service details.
