3. Remove the driver seat.

WARNING:  TO REDUCE THE RISK OF SERIOUS PERSONAL INJURY, READ AND FOLLOW ALL WARNINGS, CAUTIONS,
NOTES AND INSTRUCTIONS IN THE DRIVER SEAT REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION PROCEDURE.

4. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

Release the tab and disconnect the power seat track electrical connector.

Release the tab and disconnect the power pedal electrical connector (if equipped).

5. Remove the recliner handle.

6. Remove the side shield screw.

7. Carefully pull out on the outer side shield releasing the two hidden clips (shown) to the inner side shield and the two hidden clips to the recliner

mechanism.
