6. Disconnect the exterior door handle actuating rod.

Open the locking clip.
7. If equipped, unclip the lock rod from the lock cylinder.
8. Remove the door latch bolts.

Disconnect the electrical connector(s).
9. Position the front door latch and cable assembly aside.
10. Remove the door ajar switch.

Lift the locking tab at the lower end.

Rotate the door ajar switch counterclockwise.

Remove the door ajar switch.
INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
