Rear Door Exterior Handle: Service and Repair

REMOVAL 

1. Remove door trim panel and watershield.
2. Tape or otherwise protect area of door around door outside handle opening to prevent paint damage.
3. Remove two screws retaining rear door outside handle to rear door, rotate and disconnect outside rear door handle from latch actuating rod and

remove.

INSTALLATION 

1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order.
2. Tighten retaining screws to 6-8 Nm (54-70 lb-in).
