Rear Door Interior Handle: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Remove door trim panel and watershield.
2. Using a letter X 1/4-inch diameter drill bit, remove rivet attaching rear door latch remote control link to rear door.
3. Remove plastic cover over cable at latch end.
4. Disengage rear door latch remote control link from rear door latch and remove rear door latch remote control link from rear door.
5. Remove handle.
INSTALLATION
1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order.
2. Use Heavy Duty Riveter 501-D011 (DB0L-23200-A) or equivalent to install rivet attaching rear door latch remote control link to rear door.
