Door Lock Cylinder: Service and Repair
Removal and Installation

Front Door

REMOVAL 

1. Remove door trim panel and watershield.

NOTE:  Individual look cylinders are serviced by discarding the inoperative lock cylinder and building a new lock cylinder using the appropriate
lock service package. The lock service package includes a detailed instruction sheet to build the new lock cylinder to the current keycode of the
vehicle.

2. Remove outside door handle.

3. Disconnect anti-theft switch connector from harness and pull out two harness retaining clips from inner door.

4. Remove door lock cylinder retainer retaining door lock cylinder to front door and remove door lock cylinder.
