Trunk / Liftgate Lock: Service and Repair
Luggage Compartment Lock Cylinder

REMOVAL 

1. Unsnap and remove luggage compartment door inside cover from luggage compartment door.

NOTE:  Individual lock cylinders are serviced by discarding the inoperative lock cylinder and building a new lock cylinder using the appropriate
lock service package. The lock service package includes a detailed instruction sheet to build the new lock cylinder to the current keycode of the
vehicle.

2. Disconnect anti-tamper switch connector from wiring harness.
3. Drill out and remove two rivets retaining luggage compartment lock cylinder retainer clip assembly, and remove retainer clip assembly.
4. Remove luggage compartment lock cylinder from liftgate.

INSTALLATION 

1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order.
