Front Engine Mounts

LEFTHAND & RIGHTHAND FRONT ENGINE SUPPORT INSULATORS

1. Raise and support vehicle.
2. Place jack and wood block in suitable place under engine block.

Front Engine Support Insulators (3.0L 2V)

3. Remove nuts retaining LH front engine support insulator and RH front support insulator to the front subframe.
4. Raise engine with jack (enough to remove load from LH front and RH front engine support insulators).
5. Remove two bolts retaining LH front engine support insulator and RH front engine support insulator from the A/C compressor mounting bracket

and the transaxle case rear bracket. Remove LH front engine support insulator and the RH front engine support insulator.

Installation

1. Attach LH front engine support insulator and RH front engine support insulator to A/C compressor mounting bracket and transaxle case rear

bracket with two bolts. Tight bolts to 60-80 Nm (45-59 lb-ft).

2. Lower engine down onto front sub-frame.
3. Install nuts retaining LH front engine support insulator and RH front engine support insulator to front sub-frame. Tighten nuts to 77-103 Nm

(57-75 lb-ft).

4. Remove jack and lower vehicle.
