When lifting vehicle with a single post hoist, hoist adapters must be used at the four contact points. Position the adapters so they are centered on
the contact area. Refer to the hoisting and lifting point illustration for vehicle contact points.
Adapter location is the same as for frame contact hoists.
Make sure necessary clearance exists between hoist and exhaust system components before raising hoist.
Do not allow the adapters to contact the rear suspension tension strut and bushing or the parking brake cable bracket.
Hoist, Twin Post
When lifting vehicle with a twin post hoist, wheel adapters must be used under the tires.
Jack, Floor
CAUTION:

The service jack provided with the vehicle is only intended to be used in an emergency for changing a deflated tire. Never use the service jack
to hoist the vehicle for any other service. Refer to the Owner Guide when using the service jack supplied with the vehicle.

Under no circumstances should the vehicle be lifted by the front or rear control arms, halfshafts or front wheel driveshaft joints. Severe damage
to the vehicle could result.
Raise the front of the vehicle by positioning a floor jack under the front floor pan reinforcement behind the front suspension. Refer to the hoisting
and lifting point illustration for vehicle contact points.
The rear may be lifted by positioning a floor jack under the rear sill, forward of rear wheel openings. Use a cushioned pad, if possible, to avoid
damaging body paint. Refer to the hoisting and lifting point illustration for vehicle contact points.
