ISSUE

A perceived lack of engine braking and the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illuminated with a false Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) P1138 stored in
memory may occur on some vehicles. This may be caused by the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) calibration.

ACTION

Reprogram the PCM with the latest level calibration using Worldwide Diagnostic System (WDS) or New Generation Star (NGS) Tester. Refer to the
