Sable V6-3.0L VIN U (1999)
1. Remove rear seat back and cushion.
2. Remove two rear safety belt and buckle anchor nuts and remove rear safety belt and buckles.
INSTALLATION
1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order. Position safety belts and retractor properly.
2. Make sure the safety belt webbing is not twisted. If it is, remove the twist.
3. Tighten all anchor nuts to 34-46 Nm (25-33 lb-ft).
4. Check the restraint system for proper operation.
Third Row Bench Seat - Buckle (Wagon)
REMOVAL
1. Remove stowage compartment door and hinge.
2. Remove two seat belt anchor bolts and auxiliary seat belt and buckle from rear floor pan.
INSTALLATION
1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order.
2. Tighten anchor bolts to 34-46 Nm (25-33 lb-ft).
Seat Belt Height Adjuster
REMOVAL
1. Remove front seat shoulder strap guide cover.
2. Remove anchor bolt and seat belt guide from shoulder safety belt height adjuster.
3. Remove upper B-pillar trim panel.
4. Remove front seat shoulder strap cover from shoulder safety belt height adjuster.
5. Loosen two bolts and remove shoulder safety belt height adjuster from center body pillar.
