Position the quarter trim panel as shown in Figure 21.

Remove the rear seat safety belt lower anchor bolt. See Figure 21.
9.
Remove the rear seat safety belt upper anchor bolt. See Figure 22.
10.
Remove the safety belt retractor retaining bolt, then remove the safety belt retractor.
11.
Install the new safety belt retractor. Tighten the retaining bolt(s) to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
12.
Install the rear seat safety belt upper and lower anchor bolts. Tighten the anchor bolts to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
13.
Position the quarter trim panel back in the installed position.
14.
On third row seat equipped vehicles, install the third row seat safety belt upper anchor nut. Tighten the anchor nut to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
15.
Install the rear seat side pad.
