Removal
1. Raise and suitably support vehicle on hoist.
2. Remove front tire and wheel assemblies.
3. Remove both halfshafts from vehicle.
4. Install Front Cover Seal Remover 303-107 (T74P-6700-A) and 5 1/2-inch forcing screw (from Crankshaft Seal Replacer/Cover Aligner 303-335
(T88T-6701-A)) into LO differential seal.
5. NOTE: The differential fluid seal is a two-piece seal constructed of an outer metal protector and inner rubber seal.
Screw the Front Cover Seal Remover 303-107 (T74P-6700-A) and forcing screw into the outer metal protector using a one-inch box wrench.
