Drill 5/16" diameter hole in radiator support bracket. (Figures 1-2).

NOTE

DO NOT DRILL THE HOLE OVER SIZE, AN OVER SIZE DIAMETER HOLE WILL NOT ALLOW THE CLIP TO SECURE TO THE
SUPPORT BRACKET RESULTING IN DAMAGED HOSES.

Install the new transmission cooler line assembly to the combo cooler and transmission cooling bypass valve, and push the clip on the cooler line
assembly bracket into the 5/16" hole in the radiator support. Then follow the service manual procedure to complete the installation of the cooler
lines.
