Perform the EEC-IV Controlled Idle Learning Procedure

Turn the engine "ON".

Turn all accessories "OFF" [With the engine at normal operating temperatures and the transmission in Neutral, idle the engine for 2-3
minutes.]

Turn the Air Conditioning "ON" (if applicable) and idle the engine for 2-3 minutes.
^
The controlled idle RPM should be within specifications with air conditioning "OFF" (see chart Exhibit 3, Page 2 of 3).

Place a small quantity of room temperature vulcanizing (RTV) compound in the idle screw adjusting hole of the throttle body. This space was
previously covered by the tamper resistant cap.
NOTE:
Idle speeds are controlled by EEC-IV processor and idle speed control motor. If the ISC motor system is operating properly, these speeds
are fixed and can not be changed by traditional adjustment techniques.
