Some Tempo/Topaz vehicles equipped with nonilluminated sun visors may not remain in the stowed position, nor any vertical position. These sun-visors
(blade only) should be removed and discarded. Improved sun visor blades are now available for replacement.
Refer to Tempo/Topaz Shop Manual (1984) Section 45-41, page 8, for removal and installation to vehicle.
Removal:
1.
Grasp sun visor assembly (blade) with one hand.
2.
With other hand, rotate arm and bracket assembly to Full Up position as shown in Figure 2.
3.
Pull arm and bracket assembly straight out (much effort is required).
NOTE:
Removal of arm and bracket assembly cannot be performed if bracket is INCORRECTLY positioned as shown in Figure 3.
Installation:
1.
Grasp sun visor assembly (blade) with one hand.
2.
With other hand, insert arm and bracket assembly into end of visor with both bracket and flat in arm facing side as shown in Figure 3.
