Disconnect relay connector and cut the grey/ yellow stripe wire (687 circuit) about 4 inches from the connector and tape back the end coming from
wiring harness (See Figure 8).
NOTE:
Make sure bare end of wire is covered with tape.

Using wiring tape (Part Number C7AZ-14487-B), take remaining grey/yellow stripe wire and tap into the yellow wire (37 circuit) coming from
connector. (Figure 8).

5.
Reconnect the battery terminal.
6.
With the key in the off position verify that the fan runs by disconnecting the connector at the coolant temperature switch and shorting out the two
terminals.
