Vehicles equipped with ATX transmissions which exhibit surge during moderate to heavy acceleration can be serviced by modifying the vacuum signal
to the carburetor duty cycle solenoid.
1.
Drive the above subject vehicle to verify the concern.
2.
Perform EEC IV Diagnostics (QUICK TEST), if system is O.K., proceed to Step 3.
