The Fuel Control Solenoid may be the cause of a clicking noise in the Engine Compartment. The following procedure should be used to service this
concern.

1.
Remove the push pins holding the Fuel Control Solenoid to the mounting plate.
2.
Pull Fuel Control Solenoid away from mounting plate and cut off mounting studs at plate (Figure 15).
