FORD 1983-1/2 TEMPO - 2.3L H.S.C. ENGINE

LINCOLN-MERCURY 1983-1/2 TOPAZ - 2.3L H.S.C. ENGINE

CALIBRATIONS: All with EEC IV

Liquid fuel in MAP sensor vacuum hose can be caused by carburetor flooding.

If carburetor flooding occurs, liquid fuel may enter the MAP sensor vacuum line. If carburetor flooding has been experienced, disconnect the vacuum
line to the MAP sensor at the sensor, blow clear any accumulated fuel, and then reconnect. Service the cause of carburetor flooding.
