Disconnect connector from the EGR valve. Install the (2) black connectors from the new electrical wiring harness, connect one plug to the
EGR valve and the remaining one to the plug of the original wiring harness (Figure 10).

Secure the new electrical harness where necessary.

4.

Install sight shield.

NOTE:

WHEN PERFORMING QUICK TEST (STAR), IT WILL BE NECESSARY TO DISCONNECT ABOVE HARNESS AND
RECONNECT ORIGINAL EGR HARNESS. FAILURE TO RECONNECT WILL RESULT IN THE QUICK TEST
INDICATING AN EGR MALFUNCTION.
