Tighten the two (2) pan-to-transmission bolts, then loosen one-half turn. Tighten fourteen (14) oil pan flange-to-cylinder block bolts 6-9
ft.lbs. (8-12 N-m) following the sequence shown in Figure 14. Tighten the two (2) pan-totransmission bolts.

Reinstall starter cable and exhaust bracket.

7.

Replace water inlet tube O-ring and install water tube and reposition air conditioner line.

8.

Install roll restrictor (MTX). Refer to Engine Installation.

9.

Lower vehicle.

10.

Install engine oil and coolant.
