ACTION:
If the subject concerns are not corrected through normal engine/emissions diagnostic routines, refer to the following service procedure.
FUEL PUMP VAPOR PURGE VALVE LEAKAGE
1. Check the fuel pressure during starting.
2. If the pressure drops below 35 PSI and the vehicle stalls or has long crank time, replace the fuel pump.
3. If the fuel pressure is maintained above 35 PSI, the fuel pump operation is normal. Proceed to the next procedure.
